Has anyone used the "wheel vintiques" vintage Motor Wheel appearing wire wheels?

They are available from Jegs for $314.99 each, quite a bit less than the True Spoke brand.

Any opinions or experiences to share?

Are these the same, I'm old and can't remember? If so, I built and sold this truck locally,........ probably 30 years ago and they are still going around.

I purchased a set of 4 Magnum 500 wheels from Wheels Vintique and 13 months later they had 2 rust pits... which they would not warranty because it was 28 days past date of purchase 1 year warranty. Since that time (six and a half years) two others have rust pits.
I will NEVER order any of their products again and feel a responsibility to let others know of their inferior products.

I was looking at a set for a '54 New Yorker a few years back. The hub didn't have the stamped recesses to clear the brake drum rivets. I was told that you only needed to grind the rivets off. That was enough to scare me off. Don't know if that is still the situation or not.

the cheap rims may look the same, but the original is the true spoke.
So no need to buy repros in case originals are available
