Well, i ordered brake hardware from Kanter, and assumed it was all i needed, but when i recieved it, all that was in the package was 8 return springs??!! I called Kanter and they told me that is all they sell for my 58 Plymouth with manual 12" drums? WTF! Does anyone know if i can use hardware from another application on my 58 Plymouth Belvedere???
Please help, my car has been hung up most of the summer with a brake hardware issue. Id like to enjoy it before the snow flies!
Thanks!!

You, trusted Kanter? I believe if know the width and diameter if drums, You can search for the hold downs for them. I haven't seen any kit for our cars. Just generic stuff like this:

Make sure that you have the hold down springs & retainers on there 5-25-1, 8. The brakes will grab and pull terribly without them.
