Hello,

I am a french enthousiast of Dodge car.
I have been given a 1961 Polara 2 doors in very bad condition. We have rebuilt the engine and gear box, but the engine is badly working : our vaccum advance is broken.
The part number is (I think) MOPAR VC 154..
I have great difficulties to find one. I bought one NOS in Canada this winter, but in the blue Mopar box, it was a VC 152 whitch does not fit.

Since, I have trouble in finding one
Does some of you have one ?

Thank you for your help

A vacuum advance is mostly an economy-improving device. It should/could not cause an engine to run bad.
Any other '60s bigblock vacuum advance should fit (although I'm not 100% sure ifso as well with castiron distributors), or any replacement of the entire distributor for a "B"-engine.

I would disagree that a faulty vacuum advance won't make the engine "run bad", the OP doesn't state the problem with the engine running, but faulty vacuum advances are known to make light throttle performance suffer.

Tony's Parts has repop vacuum advances for some distributors.

Excellent rebuild service of your old failed vacuum advance.

I realize you will have extra shipping time but their US turn around time is usually under two weeks!
