Hi folks, hoping I can get some advice. I own a '56 Dodge Royal Lancer (4 door HT) that has it's original tired 315 Poly in it. I came across a rebuilt 291 Desoto hemi with "under an hour run time" on it supposedly that after hearing it run on a stand I bought. I want to drop this motor in the Dodge but the oil pan has the deep section in the wrong place to fit. Also, the exhaust manifold on the driver side is a center dump as apposed to the rear dump that the 315 has. Are these issues that can be overcome or am I getting myself into something that's going to be a real pain to deal with?

Thank you!

Kelly
