I wondered if anybody would know how close 58 Plymouth and 58 Desoto Trunk floors are to each other ? Thanks in advance.

Not at all close. All DeSotos, except for the overseas hybrid ones, used the same trunk floor.

I do know that the Dodge is the same as the Chrysler and DeSoto. Are Plymouth the only ones that are different? I would have expected them to be the same too, except maybe a little shorter?

I would expect the trunk floors across the makes to have subtle differences. As examples, the gas filler locations, trunk floor extensions to quarters, the areas where they meet the rear of the body, spare tire hold downs, etc.

But I'd also expect a "good" trunk floor from one car to be a suitable replacement for a bad (or missing) trunk floor in another car. Even if it's not perfect, you could make it work.

I thought they might be similar ,But I check with John at Big M and he also said they are completely different.,Thanks for the input everyone.
