I need some help please. Does anyone know what to look for and how to daignose the clock in one of these? Mine does not work and I'd really like to see it working. If it can be fixed is there a common problem to check?

Not exactly sure what a 56 Imperial Clock looks like but assuming that it looks like my 56 Dodge clock and it is electro-mechanical, you might want to read through my thread:

In the end, I had Clock Works re-do my clock:

Thank you. Well my clock worked when I first did this thing after hooking it up. What I found is the stupid '56 once again another only year they did it, used electric motors. I did not do my gauges and stuff I sent them all out to be redone. Worked for a number of years so I reckon me gonna play spider monkey again and pull thing out of my highly ridiculously over enginerred dash. I found out about filing the points down and the oiling with a needle point and do not use WD-40. To be honest I can not remember hearing tick-tick-tick from my clock. Might have to have it converted to a quartz movement, last resort.
