I nabbed this brochure for cheap off eBay before Christmas and just picked it up yesterday at my Point Roberts WA mail drop. I *think* I have *ALL* the 1956 Dodge brochures, etc. now.

It is a very strange size (11 x 14) which made it difficult to scan. Each page had to be scanned in sections and stitched together (manually in my case, using Paint).

Anyway, enjoy (or not)

Just noticed the green HT beauty has Good Year tires, letters visible on the sidewalls! Is that how they came from the factory?

I wouldn't get too hung up on the tires that the cars were wearing or not wearing in the photos. If you notice, a few of the 56 Lancers are shown with the 1955 push button door handles rather than the real 1956 Swing-out "Fridge" handles. So what you see is not necessarily what theY got.

Just like in any brochure.

.
I recently started a thread about the 55-56 Lancer rear window area trim. As part of that thread, I've asked for photos of actual 56 Dodge 4 dr hardtop Lancers. I couldn't find any.

This thread: http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=78104&...

I woke up in the middle of the night last night and was thinking about the Coronet Lancers and wondered whether there were any 6 cylinder Lancers, i.e with Body Codes 614 (6 cylinder Coronet 4dr hardtop) or 616 (6 cylinder Coronet 2dr hardtop).
My gut says no but my brain thinks that it has seen photos of such a beast (but then again, I might be thinking of a 56 Canadian Dodge Regent (115" wheelbase Plodge) 2 dr hardtop with 6 cyl and Powerflite).

Any body know of a 120" wheelbase 6 cylinder Coronet Lancer??

My potential source of confusion (photos Courtesy of John A.):
