1960 Dodge Matador
fuel: gas
title status: clean
transmission: automatic
1960 Dodge Matador

361 big block V8
Torqueflite automatic
Power Steering
Clock (Yes that cool revolving one!)

The car is in great shape. The engine runs well. No smoke or noises. I installed a new water pump and the correct carburetor, linkage, choke and other associated parts that the previous owner had damaged and lost. A brand new 23 gallon fuel tank and sending unit was installed as well as a good fuel pump and new rubber fuel hose. The transmission goes right into gear and the car does drive. Generator charges. The brakes need work. Has a good master cylinder and brakes do function but need going through.

Very solid body. No rust out. Good solid rockers and floors. Someone had patched the center of the trunk floor at some point with a piece of sheet metal. Car appears to have been repainted at some point.

The interior was redone at some point. Not all original of course but presentable and good for a driver. The original front cover is underneath the new upholstery. Door panels are original and in decent shape. Good headliner and visors. The interior was done in green but the majority has been dyed to a more correct black. The original interior was silver/black.

Ignition key made, new trunk lock installed.

With some brake work and other minor things this car could easily be made into a driver.

Car is located in Hickory, NC. I have a Vermont transferable registration in my name.

$6500 or trade. No new stuff. 1973 and back. MoPar preferred.

This belongs to Austin (PlymouthFury), he's got a thread about it a few topics below!

I'll vouch that he's an honest straightforward seller with a lot of experience with these cars.
