this is an aftermarket motorola radio and faceplate 597X, chrome is peppering but no pits.  no knobs they are black plastic though.

 

35$ plus the ride, for the faceplate.  if you want the radio also ill toss it in for shipping.  this layout is for gm knobs.

 

button push in and pop out, tuner moves hard. i think it prob fires up

I was going to use this as a front face for a modern radio but going another route.

theses 57-58 radios are common and cheap to find on ebay. Why would you buy and aftermarket?

Dealer/aftermarket options can be just as or more interesting than factory options in my opinion. It really just depends upon the car its going in. Sure is a funky old radio with the layout being the complete opposite of the stock radios!

I think those are high end aftermarket radios. The aftermarket ones are kind of rare.

I think the motorola was alot better than stock and its an old school aftermarket item.

Crazy they built "made to install" faceplates that adapted to their radios.

Here guy wants 250$ for the faceplate.. hah. I was tired of storing it Glad someone wanted it. part of the CDK-27 Kit guy doesn't have the speaker though. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1957-1958-Plymouth-CDK-27-Radio-Kit-with-Sp...
