I just finished a 330 rebuild for a customer and weighed the engine for shipping (Fastenal, $175 to SFO).

It comes in right at 600 lbs with alternator and 2x4 intake manifold, no carbs. no fluids.

The 'problem' I have with all/any of the published charts, whether new or old, is that they never seem to list exactly what is being weighed.
As time permits I may hang a few more on the scale to start my own list.

IIRC, someone on this forum also had a couple on the hook and posted some pics but I cannot find the thread now.

Around 600 might be close. All I know about my 354 is that my cheer picker was not very happy having that thing hanging off it. Maybe cast iron wieghed more back then.
