New to the group, bringing a 1960 Valiant Suburban wagon back from the dead. The car and my wallet both were too far gone -- and I want to drive this regularly -- to bring back to original, so I am restomoding it. That means primarily that I am swapping the /170 for a /225, 3-spd manual for 4-spd/OD, front disc brakes, 13" for 14" wheels, power steering, custom paint and interior. I live in San Marcos (north San Diego county), but don't expect to see the car on the road any time soon. I can always use some help, if anyone is in the area. The car was originally a V-100 in PP1 red (which, according to literature, was not offered by Chrysler...go figure), now it's going to look more like racing legend Prince Valiant.

Welcome. I have this '61 Lancer wagon a couple hours from you. Mine has the aluminum block 225. I am not thrilled with the carburetion so I am thinking of fuel injecting it. I have 15" wheels on it with the original Lancer dog dish caps.

Nathan, where did you find 15" wheels with the small bolt pattern?

Yes, the 63 series wheel. The 69 series cop car wheel doesn't come in small bolt pattern. As far as I recall, the only ones available in small bolt pattern from them are the 48 & 56 series rally wheels, as well as the 61 series stock style.

I have a pair of brand new 56 series rally wheels in small bolt pattern 15x7 that I would sell at a discount if anyone would like them, but shipping is quite expensive for wheels. I don't know how Summit ships so cheaply, but I can't.
