I need both left and right sill plates for a 2 door 1960 or 61 Plymouth or dodge.

Thanks, Will.

In case you’re not aware the door sill plates on 1960-61 Plymouth & Dodge cars have different pattern / design stampings.

Yes they will interchange but are specific to the car line.

Have to check but I may have a set for 1960-61 Dodge.

Thanks for the response. I am aware of the differences but need a nice pair to restore and use on my 61 Fury until the correct ones come along.

If you have a set from a Dodge I'd love to see them.

Thanks.

Will.

From my experience with 60 dodge and Plymouth sills, you can use 4 door on 2door (cut them down)

I also found that the steel used in the repo ones is thinner than factory ones, so be aware of that

On my dodge, I replaced both sides full length, with the Plymouth, I only cut out what I needed to and welded that in

It turned out much better and easier

You will also find braces in the sills that will need attention.

I have left over sections, but being here in Aus, I think shipping would be to pricey.

I got mine off ebay, but black car would be a soarce, but I have noticed that the repair sections for these cars are getting rarer

It might be worth cutting out a section and finding a sheetmetal works to make a length for you

"cut them down"...."weld".... "steel"... ? Sill plates = aluminum trim that bolts to the rockers under the doors.
