Kind of a pretty looking car in that image, but rough around the edges.  My guess is that this is not a coded spring special.  The paint scheme is off with the white fins and the Custom Royal script has been moved to the fin (nice looking location, but I've never seen it there on other cars).  It also has early headlight doors and no fin end-caps or grille badge.  It kind of looks like the 350 Ram Fire, but (for me) it's tough to tell.

Does that 318 have the stock carb on it? It looks larger than the usual 2 barrels on these engines (to me). Or is it even a 4 barrel?

Hard to tell from the photo. Looks like a 4 bbl from what I can see (or think I see)

It has a FOMOCO Autolite carb installed on it....I can't tell whether it's a 2 or 4 barrel.....

A few things wrong it being a "Custom Royal"...wrong engine, its a Poly not the wedge 350 (base engine in the 58 CR)..2 speed trans..the badging is in chrome...CR should have gold lettering etc
