So... scratching your head thinking what the heck should I do with that old FL car? Hmmm? Well you could try what this guy did. Not kidding, not photoshop. I really saw this today.

If I remember right, it was supposed to be a homage to the freestanding headlights of the 20's and 30's even though that really doesn't change the fact that they mounted them on a car that looked nothing like a car from the 20's and 30's. I don't hate them, but I don't love them either.

Exner was determined to get some classic-era styling cues into the production cars, especially the higher level Imperials.

After he left Chrysler, one of his pet projects was a series of "revival" design studies that took that idea to marques that were long gone. Google 'exner revival cars' for many more photos and details.
