| Hi everyone! I could use some help sourcing a rear-sump oil pan solution for my '56 Dodge! I've installed the FatMan IFS front clip and need a replacement oil pan in order to retain the 270ci small block. I see that there are some small block rear sump pans already available online, but none specifically list the 270's. Anyone know if these pans are shared with another small block, maybe from the 60's or 70's?
Thanks so much in advance!! |

| Lol - well this post was a bust...
Luckily I got in touch with Kevco - they make a variety of custom oil pans, and they said they can modify mine with proper measurements and such. I got the oil pan off (finally) and am readying it to ship. I was hoping to source a new one instead of getting mine hacked up, but I gots to do what I gots to do! |

Location: So. Cal | Your only hope is to get one from a '53-'54 Dodge 241. I know that '55-'56 Dodge & Plymouth were center sump. But you *might* have a chance by looking at 241 motors from '53-'54. I am just not familiar with them to give you an answer. If that doesn't pan out for you, then making a custom pan is your only option.
