Hi all

Having trouble finding the rear U joint for a 57 plymouth where abouts do you get one from new? the two pieces that bolt to the diff are an unusual shape not your standard round style

It's probably best to replace the yolk on the end of your differential. Then you would be able to use a standard u-joint. Either that or else try to refurbish your old u-joint. Purchasing a new one is going to cost a ridiculous amount.

And now, I have swung by the post office, got you the quote on shipping, sent you an e-mail, and it spit back a response that you are away until July 1st.....
When you first inquired many many months ago, I had seven (7) of these ..... I am now down to four (4) and a fellow from Wyoming (307 area code) just called me Saturday....
and wants one (1)... He is checking his 1958 DeSoto for one also, because it would be cheaper to ship the two together......
Are you waiting until I am out??????
1957 Plymouth REAR Universal Joint is a one - year ONLY with N O reproduction........ Yours, Craig....

I see someone here has indicated to you that you can expect to be a ridiculous amount ---- NOT for Mine --- until they are G O N E .........

Robert,
I have gone to the post office again, to find out the shipping charge for three (3) universal joints to your Australia 4352 address....
I have sent that information to both of the other places we have e-mail correspondence, so you have everything presently including the paypal information....
As soon as you take care of the payment, they will ship immediately, if you want, because you stated that you would be away....
Let me know if you want me to ship immediately --- or hold them for a few days, until you return...... Cheers, Craig......

Robert,
I am back here in the library -- it is Thursday, June 20th at 4:00 PM here in Long Island, New York (1600 hours if you like // 4:00 in the afternoon)....
I spoke to my friend James last night, this morning, and just now -- and he says that there is NO DEPOSIT in his pay pal account -- so we are awaiting on you....
Whatever you think you did --- did not.....
Yours, Craig..........

Based on my recent rear pinion flange swap on my 56 Dodge, you could very likely get a 58 or later Dodge/Pymouth pinion flange and install it (maybe with a Ford 9" spacer) and eliminate the earred U-joint.
