Wow. Personally, I have a very hard time believing that story, i.e. that it is NOS and has never been on a car.

I'm with you Dave....you can buy these from Booster Dewey in Portland for about the same money. I have them on my '58 Imperial, '60 New Yorker, '58 Windsor, '61 Saratoga, as well as the '62 300 convertible, this one looks like it's done a few miles under the hood alright.......

Im with you guys , it looks tarnished and well used in the photos , but its definitely new when you study it . How the face got that bad is beyond me , it looks like someone has been cleaning their spray gun near it with thin paint near it .The back has never had the nuts to a mounting plate fitted as they are all equally surface rusty and the rubber is soft and pliable and its comes with a hessian seal at the back to protect it as only a new one would . I am not trying to rip anyone off . The guy i got it from said it was NOS and it doesnt look like its been rubbed where it contacts the brake pedal either . It has a yellow paint marking on the face as only a new spare part would also .
