Location: Melbourne, Australia | hi guys,
so i changed the points, plugs etc..went to start it, it cranked but didn't start, turned car off but was still cranking, keys out and still cranking.
i quickly disconnected the battery.
I wouldn't had thought that the points would have anything to do with this problem
1st time I've come across this.
Has anyone experienced this?..
Any tips on diagnosis
cheers...Anthony |

Location: Alaska | This has nothing to do with your points. Your starter solenoid was holding it engaged and if it had started normally, would have disengaged like it should. First, find out why it won't run and fix that. You may have to replace the starter solenoid. |
