I was wondering if anyone here has experience replacing the windshield and gasket on a 1960 or 1961 Plymouth or Dodge? I have a good, original windshield, not sure how my original gasket will hold up when I remove my broken windshield. Who makes a good replacement? I found one from Bernbaum, but I don't see one from Restoration Specialties or from Steele Rubber. Anyone else making good windshield rubber? How about Gary Goers old business?

Bernbaum's: PN A319-C, $100.00

most likely the rubber seal is still good , unless it has set in a desert for the last 50 years . take it out and clean it up with original go-jo after all the glass is removed . there's a removable , non-hardening 1/8 caulking being sold on
epay that will reseal it . i'm going to use that same sealer to reseal my back glass here real shortly and it looks to be close to factory sealer -----------------------------------------------later

Chuck,

Is this the Go-Jo you recommend?

if it still has lanolin , yes . take the glass and seal out of car , clean it up dry . then give it a good coating of the original go-jo and put in in a plastic bag for a couple days . bring it out and wash with a
mild soap like dawn , cleaning real good . you'll be absolutely amazed how it came back to life and the lanolin will help keep it that way
i just got the 1/8 sealer for mine today but it'll be a little while before i do it ------------------------------------------------------later
