Location: North Australia | G'day Mick, make him an offer, looks like the guy is selling lots of stuff, so might need it gone. Have you seen this car? I recall one was getting around with a 318 installed in it, this might be the one. Steve.

Location: North Australia | Hey Mick, just thinking, this car would make a fine addition to your fleet. You would have an Aircraft carrier (Imperial). A Heavy Battle Cruiser (Buick). A Frigate (Plym). And a fleet tug (Austin). Admiral Mick, kinda has a nice ring to it! Steve.

It's been painted a few different schemes over the years too so probably want to check out the body if you're really interested in it. I liked it best with the flames, don't see a '58 Imperial with those very often, then again probably don't see many '58 Crown sedans in general that often either (11889620_10153132371222984_568048874234771424_n.jpg) (14364669_10153979931377984_2782036636494188755_n.jpg) (13177133_10153665198547984_2437324482224931408_n.jpg) (12509572_10153422000912984_3196979792286758825_n.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 11889620_10153132371222984_568048874234771424_n.jpg (51KB - 315 downloads) 14364669_10153979931377984_2782036636494188755_n.jpg (76KB - 327 downloads) 13177133_10153665198547984_2437324482224931408_n.jpg (58KB - 312 downloads) 12509572_10153422000912984_3196979792286758825_n.jpg (46KB - 310 downloads)

Expert 5K+ Posts: 8443 Location: Perth Australia | I remembered this car after I posted here Last time it was for sale, it was 12 grand, so its cheaper The 318 kills it for me because without the hemi being in it, I would more inclined to put an SRT engine in it The factory engine is in some hot rod in Perth somewhere apparently and to try and buy that engine back or SRT it are both very expensive propositions As for the paint, the "scollops" would be the first thing to go, so it may turn into a re paint as well Just going by the pictures, it also is going to need extensive interior work Glass will be pricey (about 2k for the windscreen here) Its not licenced and I have been told that it came to Australia as a military import, so no import paperwork, this could make licencing a problem, but not impossible and engineering as well if it hasnt been licenced with that engine Bottom line is the car is a can of worms that I would tackle if the car was a couple of grand, 9 grand, I want a better platform to start with or a more saleable car. Saleable, I mean 70s muscle car. This car done to streeter would still only get mid 20s in a sell AS for the buick, I sold it much for the same reasons here. I have seen a few of the era for sale for much less than mine was going to cost My plymouth is also a money pit, but that one I am just plodding along with it and one day it might turn into a car Bottom line,
