GregCon - 2019-06-26 6:15 AM There's no doubt that stock height makes for a better ride. Just not as cool....

Yep Greg, ... your right about the cool part, ... not so much on the stock height necessary being a better ride because:

If the stock suspension has been modified to lower the car and results in a harsh and uncomfortable ride then it was not done correctly. If the centre of gravity is lowered and the suspension allows for adequate travel and spring rate then the ride would be as good or better then stock. Think sports car or luxury import sedan.

Street Rodders have been doing this for years with aftermarket suspension replacements that do provide a comfortable ride.

1960fury - 2019-06-25 2:41 PM I just happen to drive one, an Electra 4d ht. Only a few miles and it didn't ride well but I do not think they rode that way from the factory. They look nice.

You have a 59 Buick flattop? Nice! Any pics of it?

No, someone just visited so I can look it over. I like 59 Buicks but there are other cars that are higher on the list. One of them a 58 Regal Lancer which will always remain just a dream but already have my "3". Fury coupes I always wanted. 60,61,59. Also have a 60 Adventurer, but it is a sedan, just not as nice as a coupe.
