Location: Lower Mainland BC | Basically a parts car. I went to see it this AM. But I could not get excited enough to even consider it for parts, e.g. windows, doors, fenders, etc. Pot metal was too pitted. Canadian made so originally a 303 Plymouth engine but I am not sure what is there now. Saw tooth valve covers. Eaton PS pump attached to the block. I would love to get the glove box lid with the SUPER 230 Powered badge (complete BS on this car because the 230 hp engine was a 4bbl 315 poly).
Electric windows and maybe the seat (door was locked). Interior was the same as mine. Canadian paint code was 3021.

Location: DFW, TX | That is a pretty well loaded '56 Dodge! I've only seen two '57-59 Dodge 4dr sedans with power windows, and never a '56.
This Custom Royal also has Powerflite, power steering, a radio, etc. I think it's worth the asking price in parts, and it doesn't look like a terrible candidate for restoration. I agree the engine has been replaced with a later engine; it also has an alternator.
That's the first time I have seen that 'Super 230 Powered' emblem on the glove box. It must be pretty rare...

I knew about the emblem but had only ever seen one in a photo before. The 230 hp 4 bbl 315 poly was available to civilians but was popular with law enforcement, e.g. CHP, before the D500 was released.
