Hi all-
Does anyone know where I might find a steering column tube to column support insulator for a 61 Chrysler , PN 1850-547? To my horror, it seems as if this is not available new or repro and mine is wasted...

Cheers,
chef

From Lares through rockauto as well. Used this in my 1960 Plymouth power steering conversion.

Thanks, but I'm needing the insulator for the column jacket (exterior tube) to column support of the steering gear. It's the rubber sleeve that fits between them.
Sorry for the confusion as there are two rubber insulators...

The parts book doesn't show a separate reference number, it might be considered part of the column and you'll have to fabricate it from rubber sheet.

Hi- Thanks but the page you're looking at is the wrong page of the parts book.
I don't have image hosting, but on page 19-4B of the 1961 parts book, the picture reference number is 19-14-38 (This is for power steering only.) Go to the list page 19-10 for power steering. 19-14-38 Insulator for all makes except Valiant is 1850-547

I might have confused things by not stating that I had power steering in my original post. Sorry about that...

Thanks for all your replies. JC Auto came to the rescue with a nice used one. So all's well, though it would be nice if a repro were available.

Cheers
