This car is for sale at Centsible Auto Sales. . 406-755-5248. I'm doing some work on it for them. I am doing a valve adjustment and then a compression test to see how the basic engine condition is. I am working from my phone tonight and can't resize photos so here is a link to my Google album.

Hopefully this works ok. If anyone has any photo requests I can try to accommodate them. Norm.

Norm: Looks good. Sort of the flip side of the one owned by Doug Lyle. Nothing that would scare a Swede or a Finn. Or me for that matter. I think my 56 Dodge was in similar shape 3 years ago. Easily fixed.

Norm, I have to ask, how do you adjust the valves on an engine with non adjustable hydraulic lifters?

Well I guess all I can do is inspect the valve train if the lifters are hydraulic. I have very little experience with early hemis, and assumed that it was solid tappet valve train.
