If I had to guess, some time near 1972 before the original owner sold it, the engine was rebuilt. I have been told previously that that blue was "rebuilder's blue".

Just a guess.

Not sure why the interior fabric is so water stained or what it means.

Location: Kalispell, MT USA		My 64 Dodge 880 361 is turquoise blue from the factory. Maybe this is a later engine? May want to check the transmission in case it is a later model also.
