Member Posts: 10 | Hello! This is my recent purchase. After 4 years trying to bring it home, finally got it. The car is in really good shape, good sheet metal, good mechanics. Needs some minor attention. Was stopped for 25 years. Original (and never rebuilt) 354 spitfire with Torqueflite. Engine sounds perfetly. Regards! Member Posts: 21 | Nice car!!! It is difficult to see them here in Europe! I own a '58 Plymouth in Catalonia, the only Forward Look car I've seen arround was a '57 Chrysler with a Perkins diesel in it. Yours look great and complete, hope you'll keep and enjoy it, they're wonderful machines!! Love the color combo as well and this door panels! Pau

Member Posts: 10 | Decided to install an oil radiator cooler and a exterior filter (cast iron Torqueflite doesn't have oil filter). The radiator is used but reconditioned from a Mercedes Benz 300 D W123. The transmisison oil filter is new from a Nissan Maxima. Want ot enjoy the Chrysler in Summer some hundreds of kms around my country so decided to extend the Torqueflie life. Note that original it has a water cooler conection at bottom of radiator that was already disconected when i bought the car. The radiaror (water) was disassembled, the core properly cleaned and then, decided to put the Mercedes engine oil coller for the Chrysler transmission. I notice that the transmission fluid works way more low temperature now. Maybe it brokes if it has to, but decided to do this improvement. The oil cooler radiator is far 3mm from water radiator. Member Posts: 10 | No. It’s and ancient tag that refers to our major automotive club. No need one to ride on the road. Lately they were smaller. But since the car is big, the tag fits there ??!
