Isn't this the one that the top sits too high, like they used a hardtop donor floorpan? I seem to recall this was at Barrett last year? Either way, I'll be out at Scottsdale next week and I'll check these cars out. ~Peter

Expert Posts: 1886 | If I recall, I think this was the one at BJ that went through a bunch of hoops. If that was the case, then the AZ police did it. This car was made from a hardtop, hence the top sitting up so high

If that was the case, then the AZ police did it. We had a thread about *A* 58 Super D-500 convertible This car: https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1958-DODGE-CUST... This thread: http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=70254&... This was the start of the resto: And there was this suggestion about how they did the body: christine-lover - 2018-12-07 3:45 PM Notice how the convertible top folded sits up way too high. Probably used non convertible rear wheel wells. May just used an entire hardtop donor shell.

Elite Veteran Posts: 618 Location: Lubbock, TX | ^ that's what I was recalling. Thanks for finding it. In his defense, Mike Swedal, who restored this car, has done fantastic work on a couple of my dad's cars awhile back. Amazing body skills! -Peter
