Looks like a very nice car.
As Doc would say, Desoto made a good looking Dodge, (or is it the other way round???)

Steve.

What's up with the left front wheel? Sticks out past the wheel opening and the hub cap is not secured.

I noticed that too. Few things spoil the look of of a 50s car/FL like wrong offset wheels. Looks like a 70s hot wheels model. Terrible.

A Firesweep would have come with a 325 poly motor, so it looks like they have replaced it with a DeSoto hemi. I wonder which one.

What would really s-u-c-k is if the new owner repaired the starter, then found out that the engine was locked up, had a rod knock, or other problems.

What? I thought it sold?
I agree Ron, not repairing a $100 starter, will at best, cost the buyer $500-$1000 in transportation fees, and could hide a host of other issues. Thus, the value gets knocked down by the ensuing guesstimate. It's very irresponsible for them not to fix such a simple problem before it's sold, if that's really all that's wrong with it.
