I found an article online today about an auction of three Chryslers of the FL era being auctioned in Greensboro, NC on 27-29 February 2020.

Here's the article: https://www.yahoo.com/autos/trio-rare-chrysler-300-letter-184540924....

These all look to be in excellent condition and it would be interesting to know who the owner is and why these are being auctioned. I personally like the '58 the best.

They are mine. I'm auctioning off the 57C because I bought Vin 1 57 300C. I'm selling the D because I own Norm Thatchers 58D 1 of 2 stick car and I'm selling the E because it was my ex's wifes favorite car. I'm now single :). Just cleaning out some room and GAA has been great for me and they're 20 min away.

Hey Mike,

Knowing you I believe these 300's are mint, or at least near mint, through and through. Good luck with the sale.

The D is the nicest of the 3 IMO. The E has a non original AC added to it, prior to my ownership. Both were "restored" prior to me. We've made them drivable. At the number of cars I have now, just have to be realistic about what I'm going to drive. On top of these being duplicates to other cars. I have also have a tow rig for sale in the auction. The idea was to sell off 4 things and replace with 1-2. Which is what happened since I bought Vin 1 1957C. I picked up 2 other goofball things, a 1965 Jeep Mail truck and a 1925 dodge hotrod. While I love my "serious" cars, I also love unique cars that make you laugh.

I hated doing that video. My dad committed me to it. At the time Lou was still new to a lot of this and knew nothing about cars. I was in the middle of doing a huge display, with a new rig I had never used before. He's wanting me to pull out most of my cars and talk about them. Since my Dad had told him I would (he told my dad he had a TV show), I did it with a few. It was hot as hell and I had a million things to do other than stand there and talk to him. He basically got all of the benefit and I had to do all of the work. Was last time I did something like that.

His productions do look el-cheapo (and he doesn't appear to have a great knowledge of cars - albeit he at least appreciates them), but it sure is nice to see you and your car in a clip.

Yup, dropped them off this past weekend. I'm confident they'll find new homes as my reserves are very realistic.

Was a tough room, didn't get what I wanted, but there was on reason for me to keep them. The 2 hardtops sold off the block. Had more interest after the bidding than before. I ended up with 10% less than where I wanted to be, but that's how it goes sometimes.
