Data plate is in the wrong location. It also lacks the typical for LA-plant Furys ill-stamped deck lid. I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't a LA-plant car.

If anyone has followed the Cold War Motors build of a 1960 Fury on YouTube and the mammoth effort the builder has had to put in to restore one of these you'll quickly see the value in this vehicle. Here's a link to the build which is addictive viewing...

Looks to be a natural gas flex line - they're yellow. Still a nice car.

Please explain: missing pieces, mismatched paint, big gaps (I see bumpers front left and both sides rear need adjust) and bleed through...thanks.

Check the hood fitment! These (1rst year unibody) came not very well put together from the factory, but I don't think that bad. Also in one picture, the problem area of all 60 2 doors (sill under rear side window) looks suspicious. I would certainly look at that car in person, if I was interested.

Missing pieces just a few to start, antenna, front helleel opening mldgs, look at pics real carefully

mismatched paint, look at each piece in relation to other joining components IE Rt side of car the door doesnt match fender fenders dont match hood

big gaps, look at frony edge of pass door to fender, you can throw a cat thru that and not skin it

bleed thru, most obvious is the rt qtr look at back half compared to front half and its not a shadow, its cheap body filler under base/clear

how do i know this, heavy hit collision tech 26+ years, things like this are obvious to me

I see everything you’re all pointing out except the front “helleel opening mldgs.” I take it you mean wheel-well opening moldings...Not sure what’s wrong with these. I looked closely the best I could. Does the front right not mate up to rocker mldg. properly? Hard to see. Also...the right side window sill. Looks like the center is sticking up a bit on one photo. Not ever owning a 60...I guess I don’t know what to look for there. What a handicap photos are for the buyer and...what an advantage photos are for the seller huh?! I missed that bleed on the right quarter totally but you’re absolutely right...it’s in all the angles in every photo. From cheap bondo huh? Id appreciate anymore insight on the front wheel-well mldgs. and right window sill. Would be good knowledge for me to have moving forward. Have owned 57-58 Plymouths for last 10+years now... now seriously looking at the 60-61s...way out designs, no doubt. Thank you

The forward pieces of the optional front fender stone shields are missing. These are almost impossible to find for some reason. This car is terribly put together, as if a monkey did it. Look at the front drivers side corner of the hood (yes, the hood is closed!) or the pass. side front sill molding elbow. These things make you question the quality of the rest of the car. Whowever did that, must have 2 left hands or just didn't give a ****. Rad support should be black too, etc, etc.

yes wheel opening mldgs my error in typing

honestly, my feelings are its a quickie, good foundation? possibly. if someone is going thru this much effort why not at least touch up all the bolt heads you chewed the paint off putting it together. and why not paint the data tag to match rest of core support and use the screws you took it off with

i feel if he would of took a little more time it could of lived up to his description more so. or he could of bought it this way to flip it,

and yes cheap body filler will bleed thru on lighter colors more so. should of at least used a epoxy sealer or spent the $70 a gallon for the good stuff

all my views

I agree if anyone here is really interested, please inspect the car before purchase!

I am familiar with the seller, he bought a car from me years ago. I am not confident in his honesty.
Not to say this car has any major problems (I don't know) but please PM me if you'd like my story with the guy.

That said, since it's a short time left in the auction, an inspection might be unrealistic.
