I did a remake of the dome light lenses for the 1960 4 door hardtops.

The new lens features the original size and shape, but the tab and the pin are a little bit studier. It is 3d printed and made of transparent PLA, which releases more light than the original plastic. Fits perfectly in my car.

25€ + shipping to your location

Thanks for looking!

Maik

Do you think the original color was white? I know other remakes were made in a yellowed color like old ones but not sure what they looked like originally for sure.

You are right, in the photo it looks like white, but in reality it looks a bit like frosted glass.

Actually I do not know the original color, maybe some of the other folks around know how they looked like when new?
It is possible that the plastic yellowed from age. But I believe they were ivory from the factory.

I can do the lenses in a different color if someone prefers that. I chose transparent only because I like the added brightness.

I could even use glow-in-the-dark filament if you wanted some atomic afterglow in your space age car

That's the symbol for Euros. My '60 Chrysler New Yorker wagon has the same dome lights as my 300F.

I have just had 4 lenses arrive from Maik in Germany, very nice finish and definately of strong construction, i have had others that seemed as tho they would break fitting them into the housing.Fast shipping too.and at resonable cost.

Guys, thank you for the praise, really encouraging!

Also thanks to the others, it makes perfect sense that all body styles without b-pillar use them.

Can you see the bulb when they are off? Did you try any in white?

No, you cannot see the bulb when it is off.
I have not tried white yet but I fear it could become very dim.

Looks beautiful! IIRC (pretty sure) the lenses in my 61 Deoto coupe were white, but the one in the picture^ looks white too.
