Location: Lubbock, TX | Yeah, not a bad car overall. 318 2x4 was the base performance engine in 1958, so no problem there. Not a fan of the late-model master cylinder sitting at that angle. Wonder if they ever got the proportioning situation resolved. Love the interior though, just pull those seat covers off...

Location: Lubbock, TX | In all honesty, this car should be priced about $60-65k. The 1957-58 Plymouth Converts are really tough to price, especially restored ones. They've never really brought the six figures like Dodges or Desotos, despite the Christine thing. Actually I'd argue that since Christine was a Hardtop, that will forever draw more attention than the convertibles. |
