Looks very nice, but don't see the A/C that Mecum ad says it has. Also, with the Benrus clock, would'nt the dash have the
clock delete plate? Wonder if the event will cancel?

I have cars consigned with them at that auction. From my discussions with their agents over the past week, the event lies just outside the 8week ban that Indiana currently has on large gatherings. If this virus passes by then, the event will be allowed to resume. But if the governor of Indiana extends that order by another week or more, then the auction gets postponed or canceled.

In regard to this car, I've always preferred this color combination of the 1957/1959 Adventurers, the Black is best as an accent color to the Gold. Lovely!

I like the black accent too, but is it the lighting that makes it look brown, or is it really brown on there? I expected gold.

For me it looks like the Adventurer Cab from Bo MÃ¥lefors - http://www.copperstateclassiccars.com (http://arizona-classic.com/)

Not necessarily.   I had a '57 DeSoto Adventurer convertible.   It had a few special order items about it.   Though it seemed odd to me too, it had BOTH the standard dashboard clock and the steering wheel watch from new.  That car is now in Calif fully restored.

Maybe the thought was that the passenger has a clock in front of them so the driver needs a clock in front of him/her as well (??)
