I have heard Canadians are mixed up, but this is not funny! Steve.

Well Steve, you can blame the Canadians if you like, BUT I would think that any listing that has the Azerbaijan Republic as one of it's locations might be suspicious.

I refuse to accept any responsibility for a car that has had many modifications by previous owners and that CHRYSLER was the main villain in the story for selling the Plymouth with a Dodge front end (Plodge) as a cost saving program in Canada. (I had one in High School and I have one now)

Canadian politeness prevents any comments about Aussie leftovers sold as next year models stc.

No confusion. The seller is very up front about the car:

"You will notice the front end on this car is a 1959 DODGE.
The long story I was told of this car is that it is a "Canadian Dodge" ( a Regent).
So apparently the Dodge front end on the Plymouth back half.
I DO have a a set of the "REGENT" name badges that go on the rear quarters.
It is a 59 Dodge front end and not the 58 Dodge which SHOULD be the case
if really a Canadian Dodge Regent.
ANYWAY, I didn't really care about the history. I wanted to build a "CHRISTINE". "
