Hi Guys is there anyone making performance parts for the early cast iron torqueflight. Like the 57 air cooled or 58. Thanks

not to my knowledge. You can get some stock replacement type parts. Good luck finding anything torque converter related. The 1960 300F has 495 ft lbs torque below 3000 rpm. I would say the internals are pretty good if they are the same between those years. Torque is what tears up drive train parts and 495 in the driving rpm range is incredible for the time and even today.

There was a part throttle kick down that made driving more fun. A guy named Erick Braurer had improved the system and had marketed it in the mid 2000s. Good luck
I finally gave up trying to service /repair the A 466. I have no problems with the Power Flite trans. Torque convertors are not being rebuilt here anymore for either..

Well that is strange. I had my air-cooled torque converter rebuilt as a (unplanned) part of my Powerflite to A-466 swap. Seems to working well.

56D500boy, What part of 'torque convertors no longer being rebuilt here', did you not understand? IMHO you were better off with the Power-Flite. My brother
had a 56 D500 2d sedan with the 3 speed and overdrive, you would be surprised how many people tried it, and then wanted to buy
it from him, after he kicked their a----. Second and over was a hoot.
