Regular Posts: 81  | I dismantled my LHS fender mirror to enable mirror position adjustment. What happened was that the internals just fell apart in the mount that holds the mirror. The die cast had just gone to crumble like hard cheese crumbles. So, I am looking for a complete LHS (drivers side) fender mirror complete or parts. It doesn't matter what condition, so long as the diecast mount is OK. Please see photos. Hope someone can help. Steve: As I understand it, your LHS mirror base cast internals have crumbled so you no longer have the necessary center square for the mirror rod to go through and the tension spring to rest against. Your missing the inner bit (cast as part of the base): | ||
