when tightening up the steering box/gear play adjustment , which way is the set screw to be turned . the 60 dodge manual doesn't say which way is the right way , right or
left . it just says tighten to the correct free play , which is correct at slight movement/free play of the pitman arm. i've never had to adjust one of any make over the yrs. --------------------later

Righty tighty, lefty loosey. In other words turn the screw clockwise to tighten and lock it with the locking nut when finished. You might have to adjust it a few times to
get it adjusted to your satisfaction as there is no set number of turns to follow. Good luck - it may take a little time.

Make sure that the wheels are set straight ahead before adjusting Chuck. The Gear has greater lash on turns and less lash straight ahead.
