Lower profile? Not much need to go much lower than the rad support. (??)

Location: So. Cal | You can get an aluminum radiator from KKS (on ebay) that has rounded top & bottom tank so it doesn't look completely out of place. Paint the tanks black and it should be decent looking. Get a tank made for a '62-'65 Mopar. Or you can get one for a '62-'64 Buick if you would like larger inlet, but otherwise the same design. This is the one that I purchased, but you need to measure for exactly what you want because some cars have different inlets & outlets etc.

Otherwise, try to get your old one re-cored. I haven't had much luck with that option around here.

Location: Blythewood, SC | Call Summit. They have a drop in aluminum radiator for FL cars. Speak to someone on the phone instead of looking it up, and they can cross reference by core size and outlet size. |

I needed extra cooling capacity for my Regal Lancer which was loaded with all available options including A/C and Auto Pilot. I wanted all to look original. I chose a Chrysler top tank with the correct top outlet and, of course, Dodge rad side frames but the Dodge bottom tanks were too narrow to house a new 3 core. I found a wider Desoto bottom tank with an appropriate inlet and drain plug and sent the assortment to the rad shop to install the widest core possible. It has all been working great for more than 25 years! It has even had a recore over those years!
For best results you need to install a fan shroud. I salvaged one from a 57 Imp. and with a little tweaking it works and looks great!
It was all a lot of work but I can sent pics if you want.
