I have been scarce around here since selling the 1956 Chrysler a few years ago. I used to be pretty active here...
I still have some things I would like to sell . I thought more people would see them here than in the For Sale Dept.
First is a Chrysler Parts list book -- passenger car --1955 to 1958--Plymouth Dodge DeSoto Chrysler Imperial. .
It is near new without a grease spot or finger print on it. It is a re-print but every number , letter and picture
is excellent. It has an original Mopar hard cover-binder, Plastic, chrysler blue and white, excellent condition except
where the puppy chewed on the corner a very small bit. It has pictures of all the parts broken down with part numbers
on them. I don't think there could be a more complete book. This book is 4" thick !
I will price it at $300 plus shipping from 50833---S.W. Iowa to USA only.
I also have the push button assembly with chrome dash bezel , NOS attached back up light switch, and several
assorted parts that go with it. FOR LATE YEAR 1956 CHRYSLER-IMPERIAL TORQUEFLITE 3 SPEED TRANSMISSION.
And said to be very rare 56 Dodge and Desoto??. This is in excellent condition including chrome on bezel and the
control box is clean and works excellent. Priced at $300 plus shipping to USA only. ....................MO

welcome back, 300$ for that book? I think the price tanked on those when you can buy the CD for 10$ and my mopar allows free downloads.

I just bought a nice hardcopy book for 25$

Hi Steve,

Can you send me pictures of the pushbutton assembly? I'm doing a conversion soon, and want to see how this looks in comparison to the pieces I've collected to do the shifter.
I have a Washington address for shipping, if we go ahead with the purchase.

Thanks
Glenn

Hi old friends, I sold the 56 Chrysler to Clives brother in law in England , who kept it a few years and sold it to someone who changed the car into something that
I think , took the soul right out of my beloved " Betty Lou" by turning her into ----whatever. Then I built a 64 Dodge B body Street and Strip 440 engine , 4 speed .
that I could no longer handle , and drive it the way it was built for. My wife did most of the driving, and she was a little scared of it. Sold that to build the car I just finished this year. !968 Sport Satellite that looks just like the
1968 Roadrunner that we ordered new . That is going to be my last build. Low vision and old bones forces me to be content with this one. ...............Still would
like to hear from others that are still on the board.....My best to all the folks who love the finned Mopars......

...............I have no idea what it is actually worth, and don't know how it compares to the
book you have. I paid a LOT more than $25 for just the cover-binder alone ! I don't care for the CD versions , Guess I am old school. I would personally rather have a complete book like mine that I can take
out to the shop and have it all right there before me. I also prefer a real shop manual to anything I find on line. ........I guess I will have to reduce
the price on it , or sell on ebay ( yuck) Open to offers....................MO

Steve, it is great to hear from you again! I saw the '56 recently, I think, with some kind of weird bolt-in roll bar (??). I dunno. People do weird stuff with cars sometimes. Hopefully the owner, or the next owner, puts it right.

I saw a gorgeous gold '68 Road Runner last weekend. Kind of a "nothing special" car, 383 auto, bench seat, column shift. But my goodness it was really striking. The '68-70 Plymouth coupes are one of the best car designs of all time. I'm sure yours is awesome too.

Good luck with your sale, glad to see you're still out there! Come around when you can.

Thanks for your comment. It is good to hear from you too. I'm pretty sure my 56 Chrysler is still in England. The current Owner got in touch with me to ask some questions, and told me what he had changed. It felt like a stab in the heart, but it is his to do whatever....................You appreciate the 68-70 Mopar B bodies , so even if out of place here, I will try to post a pic. This was a 4 year project. Stay healthy...................MO

Amazing! Love that color combination, with the Keystones. Looks like a photo shoot from the early 70s. Thanks for sharing that beautiful car.

Wow, brings back memories. My brother in high school had a '69 RR with very similar paint, top, and wheels...but different stance, because it was the 80's.

Thanks all, I take that as quite a compliment , coming from you all !.... John, it is a Sport Satellite that I made look like
the new 1968 Roadrunner that Cheryl and I ordered from the factory. I had less than 75 miles on the new RR when we put the Keystones on.
I like to do little things to make people say WTF ??? Notice the " call outs" on the hood scoops ? lol.....
I sure wish I was able. I would build my dream car before I got the 56 Chrysler... A 57 Chrysler 2 dr hdtp.... Miss them fins ! ......................MO

I was squinting in disbelief to see it - did that really say 318!? Not the power that most want but one of the greatest engines ever IMO.

Yep... I have had my fun with power and 4 speeds---and breaking stuff. I wanted a cruiser that would be easy for wifey to drive.
650 mile road trip and got 17 1/2 to 18 1/2 MPG... And plenty enough passing power................................MO

Beautiful Plymouth, Mo. They were real lookers from day one.

The 66-69 B-body Mopars were exceptional in both styling and engineering.
Arguably the best all-around cars the company ever made. When new, they
were my favorite of all the sleek and muscular cars being offered at the time.
Still have my 66 Coronet.
