| Guys,
I am needing a little help. I have a 1961 Dodge Dart & my dashlights only work once in a while when I turn my headlights on. It is getting worse every time I use them. I am not having much luck finding a headlight switch for my '61 but I have found one for a '62. Does anyone know if the '62 will interchange? Or does anyone have any suggestions for finding a '61 if not? Thank you in advance for any help. |

Location: northern germany | Try soaking it in penetrating oil. I "repaired" several that way. |

| The head light switch is 1960 - 1961 -- ONLY -- Very Tough to find, indeed --
I have one last remaining N.O.S.
Always best to simply call me --- Craig --- 516 - 485 - 1935.....

Location: Ontario, Canada | Or, send it to Jeff Carter for a rebuild at JC Auto.
He did my 58 Dodge switch earlier this year and the best part is that all the other electrical contacts are restored as well.

Location: northern germany | There are different 60/61 hl switches. Desotos for instance used a different one than Plymouth and I wonder if Dodges used the "Plymouth" or the "Desoto" version. Probably the latter. |

| Thanks for the advice guys. Still getting to the point of pulling the switch to see if I can clean it at all. |

| Can we not use a '62 & up switch & make it work? I am very new to cars this old so I hope this isn't a stupid question, just curious. |
