Expert 5K+ Posts: 9854 Location: Lower Mainland BC | . "X-rated" as in naked and all its holes exposed for the world to see. I am particularly interested in what is behind the master cylinder/brake book reinforcement plate. Just thinking ahead for a power booster change project. If you can post a photo or point me to where one lives, it will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Edited by 56D500boy 2020-11-21 4:39 PM

Expert Posts: 1207 Location: Ponder, TX | Both of my cars were V8s. One was a manual and one a PowerFlite, and the mounting plates were different. The hole pattern in this picture is the manual version. I have more unfiled pictures, but can't find them quickly tonight. The automatic firewall is open so I could take pictures, but much of the firewall had been modified and I can't vouch for the original configuration when I received it. I've been down with the WuHan Flu for a week, and still facing a week more of quarantine before I can get out and about, but I'll try to find more if it will help. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9854 Location: Lower Mainland BC | . Gary and Steve: Thanks very much. Those photos are what I needed (and was too lazy to discover on my own, i.e. completely removing my brake system). Onwards and upwards. UPDATE: I did find this photo that I took when I changed my single port MC in Nov. 2016 (but that doesn't really help - I am interested in the upper area- so thanks again Gary and Steve): Edited by 56D500boy 2020-11-22 3:56 PM

Extreme Veteran Posts: 345 | Hi 56 D, A pic of my firewall and a sketch I made from the gaskets between the master cylinder and firewall. If this is any help. If this is any help. Del Thanks Del. That could come in handy as I slowly progress with this project (high mounted dual channel power brakes) Your parcel arrived in Kamloops Today Nov. 27 at 2:53 am but they are still saying "End of the Day Dec. 1" for delivery. I guess the Kamloops postal workers don't have vehicles and must resort to snow shoes and/or dog sleds?

Extreme Veteran Posts: 345 | Just because you live in the lower mainland where snow is a novelty. I did see a dog team pulling up the hill.
