Standard heater, not A/C or anything special. Dodge is probably the same and '55 might be too, I'm not sure. I think the PN is 1605 276 common to MODEL 700, MODEL 701. MODEL 702 and MODEL 704 heater systems. I think it is the same for 55 and 56 Dodges and Plymouths (and maybe all 55/56 Mopars, except Imperials) Measure the length and post. Item 19 (sub-section 1-48-125 in the 55-58 Parts catalog) ![]() Edited by 56D500boy 2020-11-25 11:08 PM

This is why I suggested that you check the length and post what you find. It would open up more possibilities to you if 55/56 Dodges, Desotos and Chryslers also work. Just measured my 56 Dodge Custom Royal's engine bay heater box at about 34.75" (+/-) ![]()

Well in that case, there is this one (not perfect but cheap): https://www.ebay.ca/itm/1956-Plymouth-Belvedere-Mopar-Original-Heate... ![]() Edited by 56D500boy 2020-11-26 11:37 PM
