I want to start by saying that i am aware of how much some of you guys and gals dislike christine and christine cars. I was influenced at the age of 10 by the movie and fell in love with the car and it was my driving factor to own/ build one someday. The back story on the car is, it was tied up in a nasty divorce and the husband spent two years in court trying to regain possession of the car. The order came from the judge that he could send someone to pick it up and she had took an axe to the car. What you see at the beginning of the video is what i got when i bought it. NO interior, NO chrome or stainless of any kind, No glass, NO motor or transmission. I hope you guys and gals enjoy the video that my wife has spent the whole two years making of the build. https://youtu.be/9gV4YcBGyqA I hope this link works, if not let me know.

It works What that bitch did to your '58 was total disrespect to some one else's property . He should of made her pay for the damages he did to the car . If she did that to my '61 she would get a cap from a 9mm and maybe she would think twice about doing it again. I also have a YouTube channel and I just subscribed to yours. I am not sure were you are located but You should also do some Christmas parades with the car.. I plan to do 1 with my '61 fury I will decorate the car with fake snow on the roof, the trunk and the hood I have fake Christmas presents and stuffed bears that will hold battery operated Christmas candles. I will put battery operated Christmas lights garland I might even put a village on the back window panel .

You have got to be the proudest person on earth. What an accomplishment in such a short time frame. The car is every bit as stunning as any "Christine" I've seen and with the two door sedan, it's got to be the one and only like it.

Congratulations! Enjoy it to the fullest - you deserve it.

P.S. The filming was fantastic!

Thanks guys, you all have helped me with it and I really appreciate it. I take a lot of pride in the fact that I done everything myself except for covering the seats and making the door panels. My wife done an excellent job with the video. She wouldn't let me watch any of it while the build was in process. I don't know which was more enjoyable, seeing the car finished or watching the video after the car was done!

Nice job bringing that '58 back!!

Your wife did an excellent job on the video, also!!

There was a local guy here that had a low mileage '65 Buick he drove around in, guess his wife caught him cheating, and she battered the car very similarly, even smashing the engine accessories to bits.

Amazing!  Fantastic work!  The business coupe has a charm of its own.  It's a great body style that makes a really cool Christine.  Thanks for sharing the video - a great pleasure to watch.

Nice work, and pretty fast. If I were to do a Christine build, I would have left it the way it was, painted it with red primer sealer and some cheap red spray paint over it. Then sand off half of it and let it sit in the sun until the red paint fully oxides. let some rust start to show through to give it a weathered look. Then put some matt finish clear over it once I had it the way I wanted it to look. I think a beat up christine is more interesting than a new one.

I noticed in another and different video of a Christine build that the same license plate COB 241 was shown. I wonder what the significance, if any, for this particular license number? Maybe it was what was used in the movie version?

Yes, it's "Christines" licence plate. All Christine clones must have it.

Is actually a Q and not O,,,

Christine's license plate begins "CQB" which is an acronym for "Close Quarters Battle".

I doubt that it stands for anything. It was likely just a random plate that the movie studios had laying around.

I just saw this post, excellent work Willard! you should be proud, great job saving that 58 plymouth, holy hell she took a beating yikes!. I really enjoyed watching your restoration video, I can appreciate your enthusiasm for the car and Christine too! I fell i love with christine too when I was a kid back in 1992 when I first saw the movie. I made it my life mission to have one someday. Below is a picture of me and my Christine, was really lucky to find one back in 2005 was hard to find then and even harder to find one today.

anyhow hats off to you, enjoy Christine!
