Looks like my steering box developed the first leak in 61 years. Not a big leak, it doesn't drop oil on the floor, but I would like to fix it. Does someone know where to get the proper 0-rings? 2 small and a big one. I drive my car 12 month a year so I got to have them at hand, for a quick repair.

RockAuto has the kits Sid.
That said, I bought an assortment of green viton o- rings, inch sizes and I found the suitible ones there.
I've notised that the Gates kits have o-rings that barely make a seal and needle bearings with half the amount of rollers as the oem ones.

Thanks for the info Sven, but at Rockauto I can find only a complete seal kit from "Sungsong"....

Thanks! These didn't show up under 60 Dodge Dart/Steering, which randomly picked, knowing it is the same as 60 Plymouth. I hope they are the same!

I have renovated 4 steering gears Sid, '59 and '60 and they're all the same. If there are some differences on the '58, then it's the valve, but I do think the housing and the o-rings are the same.

Turned out to be only the neck hsg O-rings, not the valve hsg, so no adjustments afterwards. I thought it is a gasket but there are O-rings too. 7mm id x 2mm and 16mm id x 2mm (which actually measured more like 16.7x2) worked. So a few cents and a few minutes for the 1rst ever repair for a 61+ y.o. ps box did it. Got to love these cars.
I remember our 2000 Opel family car that was still running like new after 140K miles and 9 years but the faulty, intermittent ps system was its doom, too expensive to repair....

Yes, nice, but I never understood why Americans bought or drove German cars, with all that Detroit glory around
