Looking for one or two trim clips that help hold the wide stainless trim in place on the front windscreen of a 1956 Dodge. I have looked at a number of vendors, can't seem to find anything close. Not sure if they are used on Plymouth? A small item only, hoping someone can help? If not I will have to try and make one, but I would prefer the genuine article...it would be a lot better than anything I can make. Thanks , Steve

Steve: If you can find the part number in the 55-58 Mopar Parts catalog, I can ask my local NOS parts guy if he has any.

Barring that, they don't look very difficult to make, even out of say 16 gauge Stainless Steel.

My best guess from my parts manual is that the part is # 1646929 "Clip - hold down", "D62, D63 ", 2 required found in Parts Group 23R Windshield Outside Finish Mouldings

I can find that PN in the 1956 Chryco parts hardcopy catalog but it does NOT show up in the 55-58 Mopar parts pdf and it does NOT show up at either Len Dawson's or Grease Monkey (formerly Collectors).

So I think you might be out of luck for a new one. Try John F. at Big M.

Sorry, Steve.

I found a couple of 56 dodge clips but they look small to me...it is a mm measure.
If they are the right ones it will be 5 usd including shipping....you will probably get them in the spring...
