Driving though US1 in Bunnell Florida (north of Daytona Beach) I saw this '57 Firedome and took the attached pics.
The car had no engine or transmission and was in overall poor condition. It is precariously balanced over a steel tank which has bright orange koi and is marked "Danger - Alligator".

I don't know anything more about it, other than it is there for parts or whole. You can contact the wrecking yard directly at 386-437-2163, wwwjohnsfamousautoparts.com.

In 2018, I believe I saw this car for sale on Craigslist near Lakeland, FL but the pics on that ad were blurred, but I recall the car was a black four-door Firedome or Fireflite.

I could use the rear bumper, but shipping that won't be fun.

I have a few pics of the car from an earlier restoration by a different owner if anyone is interested in it...

Really clever to cut a opening in the front to make it easier to remove the powertrain...sweet!

Nathan,

I should have one. On another note, just posted some 56 Fury trim and mouldings.

I had a 64 880 that carried me from St Louis to Bunnell fla, left me on foot and ended up in that junkyard back in '86.
