Need to replace the trans tunnel on a '57 Dodge, the front part in front of the front seat. Is that the same as all 57-59 Mopar?

Sorry Garrett. I thought that I could check the 55-58 Parts Catalog and find the PN for that part of the floor pan and do a cross reference. No such luck. Item 64 in the diagram below is listed as the "Front Floor Pan" and as "not serviced", i.e. no replacement Part Number to cross reference.

In 1957 there were three transmission offered (3 spd manual, 2 spd Powerflite and 3 speed Torqueflite). I doubt that they banged out three different floor pans but went for the one that accommodated the largest transmission, the 3 spd Cast Iron A-466 TorqueFlite. As a result, I would guess that, while each product line had its own floor pan because of wheel base and width differences but the differences in the wheel base made the most changes in the rear passenger foot wells, the front part of each floor pan would be very similar, at least at the transmission hump.

So bottomline, I would guess that if you stayed away from Imperials and focussed on Plymouths, Dodges and Desoto Firesweeps (built on a Dodge chassis) you will likely luck out. Maybe full sized Desotos and Chryslers too?

Hopefully.

I am restoring a 58 Plymouth and the transmission hump had several holes cut in it for floor shifters. I also have a 57 Chrysler parts car and I used most of the Chrysler
front part of the tunnel to repair it and it was a perfect fit. They appear to be the same.

Yes, they are all the same between brands in the front section. But there are differences between years. '57 has the cross braces that go across the full width of the floor - up under the tunnel, whereas '58-'59 stops with a gap at the tunnel. The rear section changes based on short Plymouth body or long Dodge/DeSoto/Chrysler body.
