Subject: Busted windshield

Limb went through my windshield and cowl vent. Somehow didn't damage sheetmetal. Thinking about selling the car as is.

What a bummer!  Amazing it did not damage the hood or roof!

It also shows how much stronger the 1966 laminates were.  It looks like the limb went clean through.

It looks like a '57 Firedome sedan. I have a good windshield for it, but shipping it is non-trivial. Personally, I think you would be better off to find a windshield locally and install it before you sell it. I believe that sedan windshields interchange from '57-'59 so more likely to find something.

Find a windshield and replace it yourself with a sure-handed friend or two, it's not as hard as you might think.
