Subject: fuel sending unit. 1961

Has anyone here ever installed a fuel sender unit for a 1961 ,22 gallon tank into a 1961 20 gallon tank?

Pictures look identical but I can get a 22 gallon sending unit for around $60.00 less than the 20 gallon units avalable.

Location: Branson, MO		Float level should read the same at the gage regardless of the size of the tank.
