I just replaced the lower rear section of my front fenders on my 1960 Plymouth Station Wagon and have run into the issue of mounting the lower wheel well opening to the inner fender well. I have no physical reference nor pictorial reference as to what the bracket is supposed to look like and where exactly its supposed to mount. Before I try to guess at fabricating a bracket I wanted to see if anyone on here could supply a photo.

Attached is a picture of the actual inner fender braces. This is the inner brace referenced in parts book as "Brace 12-07-1"

These parts are from a 1960 Dodge. However, the small inner fender brace is the SAME on both Dodge and Plymouth models.
The Dodge models also have a second longer brace mounted towards front that's not used on Plymouth.

The brace is pretty basic piece of flat steel with a bead for strength and bent at an angle on mounting end.
One mounting hole uses a bolt and the other hole is tapped for a machine screw. There is a Right & Left side.

One more note, most of the braces I've seen have the end shaped like the bare (galvanized) one. The other one (not cleaned) is just cut square.

Hope this helps with your project !

There should be a tab on the lower inside lip of the fender with a hole or slot for the screw on he threaded end of the brace.
The other end, IIRC, used another screw that threads into a blind nut on the fire wall.
Note the large round hole in the liner for adjustment, 2nd picture
These pic's from a 61Newport front clip.
